2008 MVP SUMMER LACROSSE CAMP

Brooks Sweet, the Director of the Long Island Lacrosse School will be running 2 weeks of Lacrosse Camps at Nickerson Fields in Point Lookout for boys and girls grades 2nd through 8th.

Camp Director Brooks Sweet has been involved in lacrosse throughout most of his life. Agraduate of UMASS, Brooks was a 4x College All American.Brooks’s is a PE Teacher at Poly Prep HS and coaches the Middle School and Varsity teams at Poly. In the 1982 WORLD GAMES, Brooks experienced a career highlight by being named the MVP of the Championship Game against Australia, scoring 7 goals in the game and earning him the highest honor as the PLAYER OF THE WORLD in 1982. Brooks’ claim to fame was always his excellent stick work and his ability to move around the offense and do many creative things with + without the ball. Brooks has dedicated the second half of his career to teaching players the right skills and a true appreciation for the game. With more than 20 years of Coaching and Directing Lacrosse Camps, Brooks and his staff will make this a very memorable experience for all players attending the camp. Enjoy a Great week of Lax with a nice comfortable Ocean Breeze !

Each day will consist of:  Games – Position Stations – Swim/ Lunch - Skill Contests – Lax Games - Swimming.  
    
8-1 Camper/Coach Ratio / Water + Sports drinks daily / Medical and Accidental Insurance / STX Camp Jersey / STX Welcome Packs / Daily Awards + Prizes / MVP Awards +  Daily swimming twice a day at the Nickerson beach pools /  Lunches not included. Campers may bring  lunch, or buy lunch from the local deli or snack bar.
( Field locations are right next to  Malibu + Nassau Beaches )

Full- Day Camper:
9 AM to 3:30 PM-  $280 per week

6:30 to 8:30pm- $130
